Empowering Afghan Women Through Boxing

Support Afghan women boxers as they rise from adversity, rebuilding their national team with dreams of unity, resilience, and the 2028 Olympics.

Empowering Afghan Women Through Boxing

In collaboration with the Afghanistan National Boxing Federation, the Afghan Women’s Boxing Team, formerly known as "Fighting for Peace", has been rebranded as "Boxers Without Borders" to reflect the evolving reality of its members (BBC News, 2007). This new name symbolises the refugee status and lack of a stable home for many of these girls, who have been displaced by ongoing political turmoil in Afghanistan. It highlights their resilience and determination to pursue their passion for boxing despite being uprooted from their homeland.
